Our Story
Founded in 1974 by Bob Roth, Roth Wood Products has been providing custom-built cabinetry, using premium materials, for every room in your client's home. With over 500 years of collective experience, Roth Wood Products has the expertise to make your dreams come true.
Our computer-aided design system allows Roth Wood Products to develop virtually any concept – using a diverse selection of styles, as well as a variety of woods and laminates.
Roth's unique manufacturing system allows us to achieve your project schedule while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Our History
We hit our 50-year milestone in 2024, and we credit our incredible journey of success to the exceptional team that makes up the Roth Wood Products family.
January 31, 1974, Bob Roth began Roth Wood Products. The first manufacturing facility was located on Winfield Ave, in San Jose, CA.
In the summer of 1975, Dave Gill was hired out of high school. No one expected this to be is lifelong career. Roth continues to be a better place because of Dave!
Never did Bob plan on his daughter, Kristen, to take over the family business when she came to her first of many "bring your daughter to work" days.
Roth was growing in sales volume and employees. One of those early hires was Frank Rocco. Around the same time Roth moved to a larger facility on Winfield.
The early 80's brought change to Roth. They moved to their current facility in Willow Glen and hired Henry Potoc and Len Evans.
Another key employee to Roth's success was added to the family. Jon Fogelquist was hired as a trainee and has since worked his way to the top sales/project manager.
Kristen Roth Kolstad began her career at Roth in 2008. Due to great mentoring by Bob, Dave and Jon, she officially became President of Roth in 2018.

On Nov. 11, 2018, we celebrated Frank Rocco's 40th year of employment at Roth!

On Feb 1, 2020, we celebrated Len Evans' 40th year of employment at Roth! Never did we think 6 weeks later the company would be forced to shutter for 6 weeks due to a global pandemic.
As we celebrate our 50th year in business, Roth is stronger than ever in leadership and employee talent. The future for Roth is very bright!

- Six styles of kitchens, a vanity, a walk around bar, a closet, an entertainment area, plus more.
